Delete Your Account & Data

This page explains how to request deletion of your account and the personal data associated with it for the Malhaar - Music and Dance mobile app and the malhaar.co web application, both operated by Malhaar Centre For Performing Arts DMCC ("MALHAAR").

How to request deletion

1. Send an email to info@malhaar.ae with the subject line "Delete my account".
2. Send it from the email address registered to your account, or include the registered email address and phone number in the message so we can verify your identity.
3. We will confirm your identity and process the request within 30 days, and email you once the deletion is complete.

What data is deleted

When your request is processed, we permanently delete the personal data we hold about you, including:

• Your profile: name, email address, phone number, date of birth, and address
• Any child/student profiles you created and the parent–child links between them
• Chat messages, notifications, and push-notification device tokens
• Assignment and performance submissions, and any photos or documents you uploaded
• Trial bookings, leads, and enrolment records tied to your identity

What data is kept, and for how long

As a business registered in the United Arab Emirates, we are legally required to retain certain financial records after an account is deleted:

• Invoices and payment records are retained for 5 years to comply with UAE Federal Tax Authority (FTA) VAT record-keeping law. Where possible, these records are anonymised and unlinked from your deleted profile.

After the statutory retention period expires, these records are deleted as well. We do not retain any other personal data beyond what is described above.
